Support Son Care Foundation, Inc. (Thousand Hills Pet Resort, Gentle Touch Pet Training, New Life K9s, Mission Cars, and Alpha Academy) as a representative of the organization.

Role and Responsibilities
- Routine entry of credit card expenses into Aplos, our bookkeeping software, utilizing our Airtable database and Microsoft Excel.
- Categorization of daily income utilizing Gingr software and Google Sheets. Once categorized, enter income into the bookkeeping software Aplos.
- Run reports from Stripe, one of our credit card processors for donations and other income categories, and format in Excel. Compare report to donation report on Bloomerang, our donor database to ensure accuracy. Enter donations into bookkeeping software, Aplos.
- Run reports from Square, one of our credit card processors for cash and check donations and other various income, and format in Excel. Enter donations into bookkeeping software, Aplos.
- Gather receipts for expenses automatically deducted from bank accounts and enter into bookkeeping software, Aplos.
- Reconcile bank statements to ensure the accuracy of entry.
- Close each month by the 20th of the following month.
- Organization and filing of receipts.
- Email a monthly report for each program comparing budget vs actual.
- Turn in various financial analysis reports based on needs of Son Care staff.
- Prepare documents for annual 990 and annual audit.
- Deposit Cash/Checks into bank account(s).
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in bookkeeping required.
- Experience with GAAP accounting.
- Able to navigate Google Drive, task management programs, and online databases.
- Strong communication skills: both writing and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience with nonprofits is a plus.
Additional Notes
- Typical Weekly Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm (1 hour lunch each day)
- 15 days of paid time off per year (for personal and/or sick)
