About Us
Son Care Foundation is a nonprofit organization that operates multiple programs benefiting Central California. New Life K9s trains service dogs for Veterans and First Responders with PTSD. The dogs are provided at no cost to the recipient. We partner with California State Prisons, where incarcerated individuals are taught to teach the service dogs. This program is saving the lives of Veterans, First Responders, and prisoners by giving them a new sense of purpose. Alpha Academy is a mentoring program designed to give young men growth in their identity, relationships, and faith. Through mentoring and community service, our leaders will help young men find community, confidence, passion, motivation, hope, joy, and faith. Job Duties
Maintenance of a 40-acre ranch and the many programs/buildings within.
Job includes a wide variety of hands-on tasks. It is preferred that this person has some general maintenance experience. Must be comfortable working with various power tools and willing to learn new skills. Must be comfortable working near dogs.
Regular duties include landscaping, painting, repairs to fencing/gates/doors/walls, and minor construction.
- Position will be hourly. Total hours will be 40 hours/week.
- Schedule Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday (must work at least 1 weekend day)
- Compensation depends on experience.
- Work will primarily be outdoors.
- 15 days of paid time off per year.
- 4 paid holidays.
- $130 monthly health insurance premium reimbursement program (QSEHRA).

Pay: $41,600.00 - $47,840.00 per year
