Position Overview

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is essential in assisting customers with loan applications, payments, and general inquiries. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable handling financial transactions and delinquent accounts.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist customers in person, over the phone, and online with loan applications.
Process customer payments and address inquiries regarding loan accounts.
Maintain and file loan documents in compliance with company policies.
Work delinquent accounts, contacting customers and coordinating payment arrangements in compliance with applicable laws.
Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.

Qualifications :

Previous customer service or financial services experience preferred.

Bilingual in English and Spanish

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Personal knowledge of how to build credit and the ability to educate customers on credit fundamentals.

Basic understanding of how interest works and how it is calculated to assist customers with loan-related inquiries.

Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.

Comfortable with basic office software.

Capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently, including handling customer inquiries, processing applications, maintaining documentation, and following up on delinquent accounts. Must be able to prioritize tasks effectively to ensure timely service and compliance with company policies.

Education :

Some college coursework or trade school experience (business, finance, or a related field preferred).

An associate degree or higher is a plus but not required.
