What are the responsibilities and job description for the Workers Compensation Defense Attorney position at Sonasoft IT Services LLC?
What you will be doing:
- Represent clients in all stages of workers' compensation litigation, including initial investigations, depositions, hearings, trials, and appeals.
- Provide legal advice and strategic defense plans to clients, ensuring the best possible outcomes in workers' compensation cases.
- Conduct thorough legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Analyze and interpret complex medical and legal documents.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, judges, and other stakeholders.
- Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients' best interests.
- Stay updated on changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations and apply this knowledge to case strategy.
- Participate in continuing legal education and professional development activities to maintain and enhance legal expertise.
Experience you will need:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
- 1-15 years of experience in workers' compensation defense.
- Strong knowledge of California workers' compensation laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently with exceptional organizational skills.
- Proven track record of successful case outcomes.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be highly energetic and motivated.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $195,000.00 per year
