Position : Logistics Data Scientist
Duration : 12 months Contract / Fulltime
Start Date : Immediate
This position requires applicants to be present in the office weekly, located in either Bay Area, CA or Reno, NV.
Role Summary :
We are looking for a talented Data Scientist with experience in the logistics and freight sectors. This individual will analyze complex data sets and develop machine learning models to drive business insights and decisions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze data patterns and trends using statistical methods to uncover insights.
- Utilize statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
- Develop and deploy ML models using Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Preprocess data to address missing values, outliers, and anomalies leveraging Databricks tools.
- Conduct feature engineering and model validation to improve model performance.
- Create compelling data visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Translate data findings into actionable business recommendations.
Minimum Requirements :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
