Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards (JDE) Sales & Distribution (SD) and EDI Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in JDE Sales & Distribution modules and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) integration. This role will be responsible for optimizing sales and distribution processes, ensuring seamless integration with business partners, and improving system functionality to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
o Collaborate with sales, distribution, IT, and other business stakeholders to understand the company s sales and distribution needs.
o Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for JDE Sales & Distribution and EDI processes.
o Translate business requirements into system functionality and design solutions to optimize sales and distribution operations.

2. JDE Sales & Distribution Module Configuration:
o Configure and customize JD Edwards Sales & Distribution modules (Order Management, Inventory Management, Shipping, Procurement, and Invoicing) to meet business needs.
o Implement and maintain the integration between JDE SD modules and other systems, ensuring accurate and timely order processing and inventory management.

3. EDI Integration & Management:
o Implement, configure, and support EDI integrations within JDE to enable electronic transactions with customers, vendors, and third-party service providers.
o Ensure that all EDI messages (e.g., Purchase Orders, Invoices, Shipping Notices) are accurately mapped and processed according to business requirements and industry standards.
o Work with trading partners to test and troubleshoot EDI transactions, ensuring smooth data exchange.

4. System Implementation & Support:
o Assist with JDE Sales & Distribution module implementation, upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
o Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for JDE SD and EDI integrations.
o Provide support and troubleshooting for JDE SD and EDI-related issues, resolving them promptly.

5. Process Optimization:
o Identify areas of improvement within sales, distribution, and EDI processes and recommend solutions to streamline operations.
o Automate routine processes where possible to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reduce manual intervention.

6. Training & User Support:
o Provide training to end-users on the proper use of JD Edwards Sales & Distribution modules and EDI processes.
o Offer ongoing support to business users, answering questions and resolving issues related to JDE SD and EDI.

7. Reporting & Analytics:
o Develop reports and dashboards to monitor the effectiveness of sales and distribution processes.
o Analyze data to provide actionable insights for improving sales forecasting, order processing, inventory management, and overall operational performance.

8. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
o Work closely with IT, operations, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration of JDE Sales & Distribution and EDI with other systems (e.g., WMS, CRM).
o Stay current with industry best practices for EDI and JDE SD, ensuring the company remains competitive and compliant with industry standards.
o Proactively suggest and implement improvements based on feedback from business teams and system performance data.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Experience:
o 12 years of experience in JD Edwards (JDE) Sales & Distribution modules, with a focus on Order Management, Inventory Management, and Shipping.
o Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes, including setting up, testing, and managing EDI transactions.
o Strong understanding of sales, distribution, and supply chain processes, particularly in ERP systems.
o Experience working with trading partners and managing EDI connections in a business context.

Skills:
o Proficiency in JDE Sales & Distribution (SD) modules and configuration.
o Expertise in EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and tools like Gentran, IBM Sterling, or similar.
o Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze business requirements and design efficient solutions.
o Knowledge of integration techniques, including EDI, API, and web services.
o Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Certifications (preferred but not required):
o JD Edwards certification or other relevant ERP certifications (e.g., JDE Sales & Distribution).
o EDI certification or training (e.g., X12, EDIFACT).
