Responsibilities
The Data Governance Senior Analyst is responsible for creating, analyzing, and maintaining the metadata management capabilities throughout the organization. This position will formalize the business glossary, data catalog, and data management policies. In this role, you will work to understand existing enterprise data and data governance processes in order to find knowledge, quality, and/or process gaps and remediate them by participating in working groups. The mission of Data Governance is to successfully manage and maintain data resources, ensuring the integrity, reliability, availability, and compliance of organizational data and information. This position will also be responsible for collaborating with development team to assist with documentation, research, and development in MDM platform.
6 Years of Related Experience including:- Advanced understanding of Data Governance frameworks and industry standard Data Governance and MDM platforms
- Data analysis, data profiling, data transformation, and data reconciliation techniques
- Knowledge of data structures such as columnar, unstructured data, APIs, data virtualization, data warehousing, data visualization and analytical models
- Master Data Management
- Expertise in implementing and managing MDM tools, with a strong preference for proficiency in Profisee.
- Basic level proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Certifications in Data Governance or MDM tools (e.g., Profisee and Alatian).
