Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with expertise in banking domain knowledge and data storytelling to join our team. In this role, you will transform complex financial data into actionable insights and compelling narratives that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills combined with the ability to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This is an onsite position that requires a deep understanding of banking operations, financial products, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and analyze financial data sets from various banking systems and sources
- Clean, profile, and transform data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability
- Design and build data models specific to banking operations, customer behavior, and financial metrics
- Develop comprehensive reports and interactive dashboards that highlight key performance indicators
- Create compelling data visualizations that tell a clear story about trends, patterns, and opportunities
- Work with stakeholders across departments to identify data and reporting requirements
- Turn raw financial data into meaningful insights that inform strategic decisions
- Monitor banking industry trends and integrate relevant external data sources
- Ensure compliance with financial data regulations and internal governance policies
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership in clear, non-technical language
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3 years of experience as a data analyst, preferably in banking or financial services
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
- Experience with statistical analysis and data visualization techniques
- Familiarity with relational databases and data warehouse concepts
- Knowledge of data modeling, data cleansing, and data enrichment techniques
- Strong understanding of banking operations, financial products, and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives and actionable insights

- Familiarity with relational databases and data warehouse concepts
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
