POSITION SUMMARY: The Production Control Clerk will be responsible for helping maintain production schedules, monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with various departments to ensure production requirements are met, and tracking progress. This role requires attention to detail and strong communication skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Track inventory levels and coordinate material requisitions as needed to prevent product delays.
- Communicate with production teams, engineers, procurement, and shipping departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Review work orders and production plans, making adjustments as necessary based on changes in demand or production capacity.
- Record and report production data, including progress, issues, and performance metrics.
- Support other production control-related tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Able to communicate effectively with different departments and teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Microsoft Suite experience (Excel and Word).
- US Citizen or permanent resident.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with production management software.
- Proven experience in production control, manufacturing, or a related field.
Pay range: $22-$29/hour
