Job Summary :

We are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring adherence to US GAAP. This role will lead the month-end close process, supervise accounting staff, and drive process improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational accounting, experience in a fast-paced software environment, and a preference for candidates with Big 4 public accounting experience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Day-to-Day Accounting Operations : Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, accruals, and reconciliations. Ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
• Month-End and Quarter-End Close : Lead and manage the close process, ensuring the accuracy of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Perform variance analysis and ensure completeness of financial data.
• General Ledger Oversight : Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring proper classification of transactions and adherence to internal controls.
• Team Supervision & Development : Manage and mentor accounting staff, providing leadership, training, and professional development. Ensure team members meet deadlines and maintain high-quality financial reporting.
• Financial Reporting & Audit Support : Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with US GAAP. Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Revenue Recognition & Technical Accounting : Ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the accounting treatment of complex transactions.
• Process Improvement & Systems Implementation : Identify and implement process efficiencies, automation, and system enhancements to improve the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with FP&A, legal, and other departments to align financial operations with business objectives.
