The IT Coordinator/Analyst will ensure the seamless and secure operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure, aligning with the evolving technological needs of the business. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting technical issues, enhancing system reliability, and supporting business continuity. Through effective project coordination, strategic problem-solving, and an ongoing focus on continuous improvement, the IT Coordinator/Analyst will be pivotal in fostering technological innovation and achieving operational excellence.
Internal Contacts: Works with the PVM Team for operational IT support and coordinates with the CMPC IT Team for policy alignment.
External Contacts: Manages relationships with local vendors and considers vendor recommendations from CMPC IT.
Educational and Technical background:
• Bachelors in IT, Computer Science, or related field;
• Preferred certifications: CompTIA A , Network , Security , Azure Fundamentals, ITIL, PMP/CAPM.
• IT fundamentals: Networking, databases, cloud computing, cybersecurity;
• Project management frameworks (Agile) and ITSM principles;
• Technical proficiency with Active Directory, network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), Windows OS, and collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, Google Meet);
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) and ITIL-based service management processes.
Experience:
• 2-5 years in technical support or IT analyst roles.
• Experience with IT projects (e.g., upgrades, migrations), vendor management, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure uptime for critical IT systems (servers, networks, applications) to support uninterrupted operations;
- Provide technical support to minimize user downtime and productivity impact;
- Manage transitions and integrations to ensure minimal business disruption;
- Ensure compliance with security protocols by overseeing regular updates, security patches, and audits;
- Optimize IT resource management by efficiently utilizing hardware, software, and services to control costs.
- Allocate IT resources based on operational needs;
- Prioritize and respond to technical incidents;
- Configure and maintain systems to ensure optimal performance;
- Implement security measures in alignment with organizational policies;
- Daily management of support tickets and system alerts, resource audits, reporting, and participation in team meetings to discuss initiatives and user feedback.
Location: Clay City & Jeffersonville, Kentucky, United States;
Work Environment: Office-based with occasional site visits.
Travel: Minimal travel for vendor meetings or IT support.
