About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Electrical Supply Delivery Specialist to join our team at Codale Electric Supply. As a delivery driver, you will play a vital part in ensuring our customers receive their electrical supplies on time and in good condition.
Job Responsibilities
- Making timely deliveries to customer job sites, shops, and other locations
- Conducting daily pre-route vehicle inspections for safety and vehicle readiness
- Loading, securing, and verifying the weight of trucks to ensure accurate delivery
- Shipping and receiving products with precision and care
- Filling orders in support of delivery routes
Requirements and Qualifications
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- 100% accuracy in tasks, demonstrating a commitment to excellence
- Ability to learn and operate hand-held scanners and operating systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and self-motivation
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (50 lbs)
- Operating a delivery vehicle
- Occasional operation of a forklift
- Warehouse environment with occasional evening and weekend hours
