Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Shuttle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently to their designated locations. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to handle various driving responsibilities. The Shuttle Driver will operate different types of vehicles, including vans and buses, while ensuring a positive experience for all passengers.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with passengers regarding schedules, routes, and any changes.
- Assist passengers with heavy lifting of luggage or personal items when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Keep accurate records of trips, including mileage and passenger counts.
Skills
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably as a van driver or delivery driver.
- Familiarity with bus driving or paratransit services is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting passengers with their belongings.
- Excellent navigation skills and knowledge of local routes.
- Strong attention to detail in maintaining vehicle condition and safety standards.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected situations professionally.

Pay: $13.97 - $15.00 per hour
