What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Mill - Machinist Level III -Set up/ Operate / Program position at Sonfarrel Aerospace?
CNC Mill - Machinist Level 3
The CNC Machinist must be able to :
- Program using MasterCam to run parts on Vertical HAAS 3 and 4th axis, DOOSAN 5 axis, Vertical / Horizontal Mills and DOOSAN LYNX 2100LSYB MILL / TURN
- Setup Machining Centers with Haas, DOOSAN and Fanuc controls.
- Operate CNC Machining Centers and Manual Mills when necessary.
- Trouble shoot production and setup problems.
- Manually write basic CNC programs.
- Design, program, and machine part holding fixtures using MasterCam.
- Work using set-up sheets, blueprints sketches' etc.
- Verify Step files, CNC programs by running First Article Part for QA approval.
- Able to use all types of shop floor inspection equipment to inspect parts.
- Keep machines, work area, and equipment clean and free of debris.
- Properly maintains coolant as necessary, including removal of containments, proper dilution ratio and cleaning and recharging machine of coolant when necessary or when requested by supervisor.
- All other duties and responsibilities as needed.
