Cybersecurity Systems and Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Systems and Data Engineer to join our Security Architecture team. This role will play a key part in designing and maintaining secure data architectures across cloud and hybrid environments, ensuring compliance with IT Risk and Data Privacy frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement secure data architectures in line with industry standards.
  
• Enhance data security, loss prevention, and encryption for platforms like Azure, Databricks, SQL, and third-party environments.
  
• Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
  
• Support incident response, network segmentation, and security monitoring.
  
• Work with vendors and internal teams to improve cybersecurity capabilities.
  

Qualifications:

• 4-8 years in IT, database management, or cybersecurity.
  
• Strong experience in data security, transformation, and architecture.
  
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, KQL, PHP, SQL.
  
• Familiarity with frameworks like NIST CSF, SOC, PCI-DSS, GDPR.
  
• CISSP, CISM, or cloud certifications (Microsoft, AWS, Databricks) preferred.
