Lead Developer

Soni Resources is seeking a Lead Developer to drive the design, development, and implementation of innovative technology solutions within the mortgage industry. This role will focus on enhancing operational efficiency, streamlining processes, and improving customer experiences. The Lead Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions while mentoring junior developers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end software development for mortgage technology applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Oversee software lifecycle, ensuring quality, security, and scalability.
• Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
• Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Stay updated on technology trends and mortgage industry regulations.

Requirements:

• 5 years of software development experience, with 2 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and DevOps tools.
• Strong database knowledge (SQL & NoSQL).
• Proven ability to build scalable, high-performance software architectures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred).
• Mortgage or financial services experience is a plus.

Compensation: up to $200,000 annually
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications .
