Graphic Designer Marketing New York, NY Contract Feb 3, 2025 Reporting to the Associate Director of Creative Design, the Temporary Graphic Designer will support branding and marketing efforts by creating and refining digital and print materials such as brochures, invitations, presentations, and signage. This role involves collaborating on design concepts, coordinating with vendors, maintaining project files, and ensuring consistency across all media while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Required Skills and Qualifications :
- BFA or BGD in Graphic Design from a NASAD-accredited institution.
- 5-8 years of professional experience, preferably in a design firm or similar setting.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), QuarkXPress, and scanning technology.
- Strong knowledge of print production and digital file preparation.
- Understanding of typography, layout, and visual communication principles.
- Ability to follow design guidelines and enhance client concepts with high-quality designs.
- Experience coordinating with vendors and managing production logistics.
- Preferred Skills :
- Familiarity with HTML, Figma, Cvent, and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with web-based design and eagerness to learn new technologies
- Compensation :
- 45 - $50 / Hour
- Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications
