The Grants Manager is responsible for securing, managing, and overseeing community health care grants and funding opportunities. This role requires working closely with community organizations, local government agencies, and healthcare providers to improve public health through effective grant management. The manager will be responsible for identifying funding sources, writing grant proposals, and ensuring compliance with grant guidelines and regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
Grant Writing & Proposal Development : Research and identify appropriate funding opportunities and write compelling proposals to secure grants for community health initiatives.
Grant Administration : Oversee the lifecycle of grants, including application submission, tracking milestones, and ensuring proper fund allocation and usage.
Compliance & Reporting : Ensure all grant-funded projects comply with grant requirements, regulations, and deadlines. Prepare detailed reports on the progress and outcomes of funded initiatives.
Stakeholder Communication : Maintain clear communication with grant providers, community organizations, health care providers, and government agencies.
Monitoring & Evaluation : Develop systems for tracking and evaluating the impact of funded projects to assess outcomes and effectiveness.
Financial Oversight : Collaborate with finance teams to ensure proper budget management, reporting, and allocation of grant funds.
Capacity Building : Provide support and training to community partners and organizations on grant opportunities, application processes, and best practices in grant management.
Public Awareness : Promote grant opportunities within the community and raise awareness of health care programs that benefit public health.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Proven experience in grant writing, management, and administration.
Strong understanding of community health care systems, public health programs, and grant compliance.
Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders in the healthcare and community sectors.
Knowledge of grant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
