A well established Law Firm providing top-tier legal services across various practice areas, is looking to add a Real Estate Paralegal to their growing team out of Montclair, New Jersey.
Responsibilities :
Prepare and manage deal files and maintain deal checklist, assist attorneys in preparing entity formation and organizational documents, including certificates, resolutions, and consents.
Support due diligence efforts for real estate transactions, including the review of title reports, surveys, zoning reports, and other third-party reports.
Draft correspondence and facilitate communication with clients, counterparties' counsel, and outside vendors under the guidance of supervising attorneys
Manage escrow style closings, prepare closing statements, and oversee post-closing requirements.
Experience with filing SS-4s and related forms with the IRS to obtain EINs is a plus Qualifications :
A minimum of 4 years of paralegal experience
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Paralegal Studies or a Bachelor's Degree with Certification in Paralegal Studies.
Proven ability to handle various support aspects of a commercial and industrial real estate transaction, including title and survey review, document drafting, entity formation and maintenance, preparation and tracking of signature pages, and adherence to pre- and post-closing procedures.
Excellent word processing and computer skills, strong organizational and time-management abilities, and exemplary written and verbal communication skills. Compensation : $70,000-$90,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
