Our client is looking to add an Assistant Vice President of Operations to their New York team. You will oversee a field tech team within the security systems and infrastructure industry. This role is key in managing projects, driving operational efficiency, and collaborating with multiple departments (Engineering, AV, Marketing). You will also have ownership of P&L, ensuring project success, and identifying business growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of 14 field technicians, ensuring high performance and accountability.
- Oversee P&L, budgeting, and forecasting in collaboration with senior management.
- Manage project details, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful completion.
- Collaborate with Engineering, AV, Marketing, and other teams for seamless project execution.
- Interface with clients, manage coverage, and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Implement and test innovative technologies with the Security Engineering team.
- Prioritize and manage objectives to meet deadlines with urgency.
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience in a similar role.
- Background in Hardware Systems/Infrastructure with leadership progression.
- Proven experience managing teams, P&L, and project budgets.
- Strong operational, project management, and client-facing skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex projects.
Preferred:
- Certifications: OSHA 30, AXIS, S2/Lenel/AMAG/Honeywell/Genetec, Lift Certifications, CCTV.
Compensation: $150,000 - 175,000
