Soni's client is looking to add a Bilingual Personal Injury Paralegal to their growing team in Morristown, NJ and have multiple offices throughout the state. If you are committed to winning, maximizing client recovery, and improving our client’s quality of life, this is your place!
Responsibilities:
- Handle both Pre-litigation and Litigation cases from inception to resolution.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys to enhance office operations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, law firms, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and expert witnesses.
- Prepare settlement disbursements and coordinate with the accounting department for check requests.
- Support intake efforts by coordinating with the New Client Team to assess new cases.
- Open and close client files, including obtaining and organizing medical records, police reports, and other relevant documents.
- Manage a caseload of up to 80 cases, ensuring timely updates and follow-ups
Requirements:
- A minimum of five years of experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant, with a focus on Personal Injury law.
- High School Diploma and Paralegal Certification or equivalent qualifications.
- Strong knowledge of New Jersey e-courts and familiarity with N.J. court rules and legal procedures.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills, ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
Compensation: $70,000-$80,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
