Soni’s client, specializing in the import and export industry, is looking to add a Safety and Compliance Manager to their growing team. They are committed to delivering excellent service to some of the largest US importers and pride themselves on a reputation for reliability across US ports and rail yards.
Requirements:
- Ensure drivers and site personnel adhere to federal regulations and company policies.
- Review and analyze daily driver logs and reports, identifying any discrepancies or compliance issues.
- Perform regular audits and inspections to ensure ongoing compliance and safety.
- Create and manage reports using Microsoft Excel to track safety metrics and compliance.
- Maintain and update driver records, including qualifications, medical cards, and equipment details.
Preferred Skills:
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel for tracking, analyzing, and reporting data. (Vlookups and Pivot Tables)
- Strong administrative background, previous experience in safety, compliance, or logistics would be a major plus
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
Compensation: $65,000- $90,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
