Sr. Software Engineer (Oracle EBS-Supply Chain)

Soni Resources is seeking an Lead Software Engineer for our client in New Jersey. The Lead Software Engineer manages projects, develops strategic IT solutions, and supports Subaru’s Oracle EBS supply chain systems while adhering to IT best practices. This role involves full SDLC participation, business process improvement, team mentorship, and collaboration with vendors and business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Development & Support: Analyze business processes, develop and test software, create SDLC documentation, and provide production support.
• Oracle EBS Expertise: Focus on Order Management, Inventory, Purchasing, Advanced Pricing, and Shipping modules.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with IT teams, vendors, and business units to achieve goals.
• Mentorship: Guide junior IT staff and business users.
• Compliance & Standards: Follow change management processes and ensure quality implementations.
  
  
  

Required Skills:

• Technical Expertise: Oracle EBS modules: Order Management, Inventory, Purchasing, Advanced Pricing, Shipping.
• SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle database technologies.
• Integration with Planning and WMS systems.
• SDLC Knowledge: Requirements gathering, technical design, coding, testing, and implementation.
• Communication & Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills, effective communication of complex concepts, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Additional Tools (Nice to Have): APEX, JSON, Unix, XML, Java, Oracle Analytics Publisher.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience: 8 years in IT, specifically with Oracle EBS 12.1/12.2 in supply chain environments.
• Solution-focused, collaborative, motivated to learn, and accountable for delivering high-quality results.
