This role reports to the Senior Accountant and works closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and compliance with company policies.

- Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Process invoices from vendors, ensuring timely payments.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable records.
- Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts and collections.
- General Ledger Maintenance:
- Assist in maintaining accurate general ledger entries.
- Prepare journal entries for monthly and year-end closing.
- Ensure proper allocation of costs and revenues to the appropriate accounts.
- Inventory Accounting:
- Track inventory levels and assist in reconciling inventory records.
- Work with the inventory management team to ensure accurate reporting of stock levels, costs, and adjustments.
- Assist in physical inventory counts and the preparation of inventory reports.
- Financial Reporting:
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist with variance analysis by comparing actual performance with budgeted expectations.
- Provide necessary data for management and external audits.
- Payroll Support:
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring all employee hours and deductions are accurate.
- Maintain payroll records and assist with payroll-related inquiries.
- Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure cash receipts and payments are recorded properly.
- Tax Compliance:
- Assist with sales tax filings and other relevant tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Internal Controls and Compliance:
- Assist in enforcing internal control processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Work with management to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Cross-departmental Collaboration:
