Sonia Barney Design is seeking an enthusiastic Office and Design Assistant that will assist the entire team in various business and client-facing responsibilities. This individual is highly organized and enjoys administrative work but would like to work within a friendly, creative culture and experience a bit of the design world. They are detail-oriented, quick learning, and have upbeat and professional personality.
Job Requirements
- Minimum two-year experience in office administration or customer service-related industries or education programs
- Proficient in Microsoft programs and Canva (Bonus for AutoCAD experience)
- Professional and clear communication skills
- Must be able to work 15-20 hour per week in the office
Essential Job Roles
- Support Office Administrator with receiving, inventory, and archiving
- Help with field measurements and photographing project progress
- Utilize office equipment to print and bind various documents
- Attend client meetings to take copious notes and organize documents and samples
- Assist Designers with final furniture and styling installations
- File and maintain sample library
- Assist Designers with deliveries, errands, and product research
- Help create social media posts and in-house marketing initiatives
