The Sonia Shankman Orthogenic School (O-School) is seeking a skilled Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our growing Diagnostic Evaluation Center (DEC) team. Located in the heart of Chicago's Woodlawn neighborhood, our center provides psychoeducational, neuropsychological, and developmental evaluations for children and adolescents (ages 5-21). As a vital part of our multidisciplinary team, you will help evaluate complex cases, provide diagnostic conclusions, and offer intervention recommendations. This is a flexible part-time position with the opportunity for growth and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at DEC, your primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations for children and adolescents (ages 5-21).
- Providing diagnostic conclusions and offering intervention recommendations to families.
- Attending school meetings and collaborating with school staff to help understand and guide school services.
- Consulting with other providers, including psychiatrists, to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Documenting comprehensive evaluation reports that clearly convey findings and next steps for families and schools.
Qualifications
To join our team, you must meet the following requirements:
- Doctorate in clinical or school psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA-accredited program.
- APA-accredited internship is ideal.
- Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Illinois.
- Post-graduate experience in neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations for children and adolescents.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to empathize with clients and their families.
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive evaluation reports.
- Experience attending school meetings and collaborating with school staff is preferred.
Position Details
- Part-time, 20 hours per week with flexibility.
