Assistant Manager Role
The Assistant Manager is a crucial role that supports the General Manager in overseeing drive-in operations. This includes training and guiding other employees to ensure exceptional food quality, cleanliness, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, train, and monitor Team Members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops
- Direct and assign employees as needed to meet operational standards
- Adhere to and monitor employee compliance of the employee handbook, policies, and practices
- Perform opening and closing duties
- Monitor and adjust staffing levels, inventory levels, and food cost control
- Complete weekly inventory as needed
- Assist with administrative duties, including maintaining files and records
The Assistant Manager plays a vital role in reinforcing a customer-centric mentality and ensuring all employees prioritize guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- General knowledge of the restaurant industry or retail operations
- Minimum six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry-level retail management experience
- Experience running shifts without supervision
- Effective communication skills; basic math, reading, and computer skills
- Ability to follow directions and work with autonomy once given directions; ability to multi-task and successfully solve problems
