We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Drive-In Operations Manager to join our team. As an Assistant General Manager at Sonic Drive-In, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily operations in conjunction with the General Manager. Your primary goal will be to provide quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient manner, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience at the Sonic Drive-In.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager with hiring, training, managing, supervising, directing, and developing Great People ready to serve a SuperSONIC experience to every guest.
- Demonstrate a Fair, Firm, Fun leadership approach and lead by example.
- Manage a profit and loss statement to exceed expectations every week, month, and year.
- Rapidly resolve employee concerns with a thoughtful approach.
- Celebrate team successes and coach for better performance.
- Set expectations and provide clear and continuous feedback.
- Create an upbeat positive atmosphere during the shift that makes work fun.
- Help employees understand the big picture and their role by sharing the why behind tasks.
- Use metrics to evaluate Drive-In performance and assist with necessary improvements.
- Maintain and enforce SONIC safety and sanitation standards.
