Inventory Control Supervisor

Position Summary

The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing inventory accuracy and control across all warehouse locations. This leadership role plays a critical part in managing daily cycle counts, resolving inventory discrepancies, and supporting the execution of the annual full physical inventory. The supervisor will collaborate closely with warehouse leadership to ensure inventory processes are consistent, data-driven, and aligned with operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily cycle count operations and ensure high levels of inventory accuracy.
• Investigate inventory variances and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Minimize inventory adjustments through root cause analysis and continuous process improvement.
• Lead the planning and execution of the annual physical inventory.
• Identify and correct slotting and bin location issues to enhance pick accuracy and overall warehouse efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and audits within the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Train and mentor warehouse associates on best practices in inventory control.
• Partner with the Fulfillment Manager to align inventory goals with broader operational objectives.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field.
• 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in WMS or ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
• Ability to lead and motivate team members while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Knowledge of cycle counting, root cause investigation, and physical inventory planning.
