Location : Reno, NV 89503
Days : Monday - Friday
Hours : Full Time, Rotating Shift - 7 : 30 am / 9 : 30 am
Full-time : Benefit Eligible
In this role, you will :
- Bring a strong work ethic and excellent typing skills, and demonstrate attention to detail.
- Perform a vital part of the patient care process through accurate data entry of patient and specimen information.
- Handle patient slides and specimens, process and stain cytology and bone marrow specimens, perform specimen send outs, answer phones, work with couriers, and be a resource to our clients, doctors, and other team members.
- Perform and document scheduled preventative maintenance on instruments and stain lines.
- Recognize when troubleshooting is needed and perform such.
- Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards, working around human tissue samples.
- Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
