The Field Sales Representative position supports all sales efforts in California and is required to positively convey Sonic’s brand message and convert potential customers into customers through door-to-door canvassing efforts. Field Sales Representatives are positive, business-minded, and capable of, and enjoy, speaking to the public about Sonic services.
The Field Sales Representative is an outside sales role. A Field Sales Representative can work as many hours as they please, whichever days they please to meet quota. Schedules are flexible but must be performed within the given time frames: Mon-Fri 9 am-8 pm and Sat-Sun 10 am-7 pm.
Travel:
Travel is expected for this position. A valid California Driver’s License and Clean DMV are required. Reliable vehicle and auto insurance are also required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute door-to-door sales campaigns.
- Perform sales related activities at Sonic events.
- Generate sales leads to fill Gigabit Fiber pipeline.
- Maintain a flexible schedule; ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays required.
- Possess an energetic attitude and desire to grow the business through sales.
- Learn and strive to gain new knowledge about product and service changes.
- Meet or exceed sales expectations on a consistent basis.

Compensation Scale:
- Uncapped, unlimited commission-only pay: There is a possibility to earn much more!
- Projected 1st Year earnings: $75k annually (this assumes 46 working weeks, 23 pay periods)
- Reps must meet the minimum sales threshold of 10 sales/pay period (1 per day minimum). 2 sales per day are the main goal.

- Walk or move approximately 3 miles per day including stairs and hills.
