Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain quality control and quality assurance processes.
- Serve as a technical supervisor and method expert.
- Author technical documents and manage departmental inventory.
- Lead special projects related to assay optimization.
- Provide administrative support to the department supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Chemical, Biological, or Physical Science.
- At least six years of pertinent laboratory experience, including two years in molecular discipline.
- Certification as a Medical Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or Molecular Biology by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent.
