The Bioinformatics Engineer is responsible for supporting and managing web application development, databases, and data engineering aspects in a Clinical / NGS setting for Sonic Reference Laboratory.
Location : Austin, TX 78728
Status : Full-time
Schedule / Shift : Hybrid, Business hours
Responsibilities
- Maintain bioinformatics related clinical assay operations, implement updates, troubleshoot, and resolve daily bioinformatics tickets / issues / needs.
- Work on ways to automate manual processes and input / output throughout the workflow
- Work with instruments in the workflow, assist in connectivity and general troubleshooting
- Application of data engineering & automation techniques in a Clinical / NGS Lab Perform other duties as assigned. Maintain the diverse groups harmony.
