Qualifications: Non-Destructive Testing Technician
- Minimum of 40 hours of UT Level I in Classroom & Lab Training.
- Holder of current Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Level II certification a plus.
- The ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic and mechanical equipment is a must.
- Working knowledge of GEH ISI tooling experience is a plus.
- Strictly adhere to regulations and procedures while performing multiple duties and tasks.
- Previous customer repair/service experience is a plus.
- Must successfully gain and maintain GEH-Wilmington site access.
- Excellent computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft applications: Office and ERP/Oracle.
- Must be self-motivated, logical, and a detail-oriented team-player.
- Must be willing to travel for training, and or testing as necessary.
- The candidate must be dependable and be able to report to work fit for duty, and on time.
- Highly motivated to be successful and help the entire team when in high stress situations.
- Be a self-starter and capable of working in a cohesive team to ensure a successful outcome.
- Should maintain a questioning attitude and have a willingness to listen when given verbal directions/instructions.
- Willingness to learn and take the initiative in new situations and environments.
Job Description: ISI Tooling Technician
Candidates should have previous experience in an automated/robotic environment. Knowledge and experience integrating and setting up complex computerized tooling systems, including network pan tilt zoom camera operations and functionality. Competence in mechanical and electrical problem solving, troubleshooting causes system failures and complete necessary repairs. Operational knowledge of both wireless and wired communications systems. Must be competent in reading isometric drawings and navigating through the nuclear power plant to walk down components, as needed, using pictures, component labeling, and piping configurations.
Perform other duties, including the following:
- Maintain confidentiality of information.
- Complete work schedules to suit customer needs.
- Drive efficiency for deliverables and reduce costs.
- Meet or exceed productivity, quality, and safety metrics – ISQO
- Attend requested staff meetings for feedback.
- Any other directives given by Management.
- Support other areas of operation as needed (CRD, MODS, etc.)
- Keep facilities, equipment, and work areas clean and orderly.
