Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods into and out of our warehouse. You will ensure that all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, maintaining our high standards for inventory management and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damage.
• Organize and maintain stock in the warehouse using a Warehouse Management System.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and labeling them correctly.
• Perform order picking and fulfillment tasks to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and shipment details.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
• Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and audits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving role is preferred.
• Familiarity with any inventory management systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of order picking and fulfillment processes is beneficial.
• Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
