Nursing QMA Responsibilities include:
- Adheres to and conveys philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality and home like
environment for the residents. - To assist residents with dressing, bathing, personal hygiene, and grooming. To help make beds and empty trash.
- To monitor and assist with medication provision following standards established facility policies and procedures. To properly
document medication provision, services delivered and, if appropriate, resident condition. - To follow instructions given by supervisor and communication with supervisor on resident health questions/concerns as
necessary. To treat residents with dignity and respect at all times. To perform other duties as assigned by medication aide
supervisors. - To maintain a safe, clean environment within the assigned duty areas. To respond to resident call light signals promptly. To
be tactful and courteous when dealing with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed or certified in Indiana to administer medications through a QMA or CMA, and must
maintain current and unencumbered licensure - Insulin & CPR/First Aid Certified
