Summary
We currently have openings in our training program for Alarm Monitoring Operator / Emergency Dispatchers, to join our team at Sonitrol Southern Nevada. In this critical role, you will be responsible for monitoring alarm systems and taking appropriate actions, dispatching emergency personnel, providing top notch customer service, as well as the technical support for field personnel.
Responsibilities (Include But May Not Be Limited To:)
- Receive, verify and take action on all burglary, access control and fire monitoring alarms.
- Utilize CCTV surveillance systems to monitor in real time, and take proper actions as needed.
- Dispatch law enforcement, fire, or medical personnel as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all actions, communications and dispatches.
- Provide highest level of customer service support, with customers with inquiries, service requests or other needs.
- Program, test and support field technicians with programming/testing of systems.
- Maintain professionalism and composure in all circumstances.
Requirements (Miniman Requirements, But May Not Be Limited To;)
- Must be able to work any shift, to include nights, weekends and holidays- 24/7 Operation- Currently Recruiting for Second and Third Shifts.
- Must be able to pass all background checks/obtain Sheriffs License
- Fluent English/ Spanish Bi- Lingual a plus
- Computer excellence/40 WPM or better/ Accuracy a must
- Proven customer service experience, with strong multi tasking skills
- Solid work history
- Strong written and oral communication skills are essential for effective interaction with clients and responders.
