Warehouse Supervisor Role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. This is a critical role that requires someone who can effectively coordinate logistics, supervise personnel, and manage workflow efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate warehouse operations.
- Supervise personnel engaged in warehouse functions.
- Ensure accuracy of SAP receipts within 24 hours.
- Communicate with Procurement team to resolve receiving issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Assign and maintain stock location labels.
- Pick materials as needed to support production plan.
- Confirm Production Orders Route Steps timely & accurately.
- Communicate inventory discrepancies to Production & Inventory teams.
- Supervise personnel scheduling and manage leads.
- Order supplies as needed.
- Develop and implement warehouse work instructions.
- Identify staffing needs and train staff.
- Monitor and improve warehouse performance.
- Train warehouse personnel in department procedures.
- Review departmental errors and retrain when necessary.
- Handle employee complaints and resolve grievances.
- Hold regular meetings with department staff.
- Lead by example and enforce housekeeping standards.
Requirements:
- Three years warehouse experience.
- Forklift experience/training.
- Experience with loading/unloading trucks.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, possess excellent communication skills, and have strong leadership abilities.
