Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring that all kitchen supplies are readily available.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning countertops, floors, and equipment.
• Help with bussing tables and disposing of waste to keep dining areas tidy.
• Follow food handling and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and support during busy periods.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of basic food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed within the culinary setting.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
