Job Description
The Line Cook is responsible for the preparation and assembly of food orders, stocking inventory, maintaining a clean work environment, and providing excellent customer service. This position requires a strong focus on safety and quality, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare food for a variety of menu items based on projected volume and direction from the Executive Chef and Sous Chef.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen setting, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance and objects over 50 pounds with assistance.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling.
