This position is based on-site in the Greater Seattle Area.
The Director of FP&A at Sono Bello is responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis function, providing strategic financial insights, and driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis to support business growth and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a proactive and analytical leader with strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a track record of driving financial strategy and process improvements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the company's budgeting and forecasting processes, including annual operating plan and long-term financial planning.
- Develop and maintain dynamic financial models to support strategic decision-making. Adaptive Insights or similar financial reporting system experience a plus
- Identify key financial trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance.
- Provide insights on revenue, expenses, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Analyze financial and operational data to drive business performance improvements.
- Partner with department leaders to align financial goals with business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to support key business initiatives and investment decisions.
- Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling to evaluate strategic options.
- Develop financial metrics and dashboards to track company performance.
- Enhance financial reporting, planning, and analysis processes through automation and best practices.
- Implement and optimize financial systems and tools for improved efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvements in data integrity, reporting accuracy, and forecasting methodologies.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing FP&A team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the finance team.
- Provide training and guidance to ensure financial literacy across the organization.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Work onsite at the Corporate Office in Bellevue, WA for a minimum of 3 days a week. May work in remote office locations on Wednesdays and Fridays.
