The Business System Analyst is responsible for supporting the analysis, design, development, and implementation of business systems and processes. This role involves working closely with various departments to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements. This position will assist in the development and maintenance of system documentation and provide support for system users.
What You'll Be Doing
- Analyze Business Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
- System Design and Implementation: Assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of business systems functionality, ensuring they meet the specified requirements.
- User Support and Training: Provide support to system users, including troubleshooting issues and conducting training sessions to ensure effective use of the systems.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including user manuals, process flows, and technical specifications.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of business systems with other organizational processes.
We’d Love To Hear From You If
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Business Skills: Background in Print and Packaging manufacturing industry functions and processes is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of business systems and software applications. Familiarity with SQL, programming with scripting languages, data analysis tools, and ERP systems (particularly ePS Radius) is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
