Job Summary :
The employee will operate various pieces of equipment including but not limited to; forklifts, hoists, and hand trucks to load / unload trailers and move material within the plant.
Job Responsibilities :
- Operating equipment to load / unload trailers and move material within the plant
- Work in the shipping department preparing product for shipment to customers by performing tasks such as packaging, weighing, banding, wrapping, stenciling, and placing completed packages on pallets
- Filling customer orders accurately and completely
- Utilizing computerized warehouse management system (WMS)
- Reporting defective materials or other quality deficiencies
- Maintaining safety standards
- Keeping accurate records
- Other duties as assigned
