Position: Pouching Asst

Wage: $21.91/hr. 8 hour shift, M-Fr, (12pm - 8am) but must be willing to work overtime. *all shift assignments are subject to change based on the plant’s staffing needs. Shift Differential for 3rd shift - .$0.75

The Edinburgh, IN Flexibles plant has an opening for a Pouching Assistant. This position reports directly to the Department Manager.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborating closely with departments and plant teams to complete basic manufacturing
• Packs product into boxes, labels, shrink wraps, and stages for the fork truck operator to load.
• Retrieves product from equipment and operates machinery
• Making incremental process adjustments, monitor and report quality of manufactured products
• Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to setup new production jobs
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area
• Assists other departments as needed
  
  

We’d Love To Hear From You If

• You have previous manufacturing experience and/or training
• Read and comprehend standard work instructions, math and measuring
• Are able to arrive to work on time with a strong attendance record
• Have basic computer skills
• Ability to work either 8 or 12-hour shifts/OT/weekends/holidays
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and use roll handling equipment
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
