The Paper Mill Reliability Engineer is responsible for managing and leading the mechanical reliability function within the mill. This role focuses on ensuring the safety, environmental compliance, reliability, production, and quality goals of the mill are met. The engineer will develop and execute reliability programs to maintain and improve the reliability of machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement reliability programs to enhance the performance and longevity of mill equipment.
- Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) to identify and correct issues affecting equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure effective execution of reliability strategies.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize maintenance practices and reduce downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all reliability activities.
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel on reliability best practices.
