Title : Senior Web Developer

Direct Hire

Job Description :

The Senior Web Developer position is responsible for the design, creation, development, testing and support of CSF websites.
Oversight of all process, data flows and interfaces that feed content to all CSF websites or provide solutions / services externally to CSF constituents.
Leading the usability analysis of all websites to ensure members and other business constituents needs are met.
Provide custom web application development using the .NET Framework, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server and other advanced components of Microsoft technology and provide training to programmer analysts who support the web services manager’s responsibilities.
Work with business managers to create effective UI solutions that support business requirements.
Other responsibilities as designated in support of organizational priorities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Responsible for developing CSF websites to maximize the user experience and customer retention rate.

Lead the development of new application components using the Microsoft technology stack.

Oversee the development of new web technologies, including the development of innovative and engaging web pages for campaign activity.

Create technical specifications based on functional requirements and industry-based best practices.

Manage website testing following the CSF testing strategy according to a given test plan and document results.

Manage the identification and escalation of production problems.

Manage the prioritization efforts to maintain and repair the existing web applications.

Manage the operational effectiveness of the current web environments.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

Excellent communication, both written and spoken English, with both technical and not-so-technical people. Ability to explain why a design works or why it doesn’t.

An understanding of responsive design and experience of delivering solutions to different resolutions and / or devices.

A proven track record of previous success in delivering scalable and complex web solutions.

5-7 years as a programmer.

Full software development lifecycle experience on enterprise-class, scalable applications.

A full stack developer, with ability to design, and develop backend / server code and front-end.

5 years of demonstrated strong knowledge and proficiency in QA and testing procedures.

2 years demonstrated strong knowledge and proficiency in component-based development.

2 years technical lead experience in one or more of the following roles : Application architecture and integration, Testing and deployment.

Proven ability to understand a customer's needs.

Experience developing technical requirements based on business imperatives.

2 years’ experience with Agile Development methodology.
