Applicants should have a teaching credential; 3 years of teaching experience, and hold a B.A./B.S. degree. An advanced degree in education or a similar field is highly preferable. Strong interpersonal skills, pedagogical expertise, a growth mindset, the ability to integrate into our school culture, a good sense of humor, and flexibility are essential.
This individual will have strong math instructional skills as well as excellent skills in teaching literacy and writing. Emphasis will be placed on the ability to develop and implement a dynamic curriculum and differentiate to meet the varied needs of learners. The applicant should be able to demonstrate a strong background in current best practices in education and effectively apply these to their teaching.
