Responsibilities
- Turf Management : Oversee the maintenance of fairways, greens, tees, roughs, and other areas to ensure optimal playing conditions. Develop and implement turf care programs, including fertilization, aeration, seeding, and pest control.
- Staff Supervision : Lead, train, and supervise a team of groundskeepers and maintenance staff. Delegate tasks, set priorities, and ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard.
- Budget and Inventory Management : Develop and manage the golf course maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Maintain inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies, and order materials as needed.
- Environmental Sustainability : Ensure adherence to environmental best practices, including the responsible use of pesticides and fertilizers, waste management, and maintaining natural habitats around the course.
- Customer Service : Address any concerns from golfers regarding course conditions and work proactively to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
