Concrete Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to work toward joining our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As a Concrete Laborer, you will be responsible for various tasks related to concrete construction, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various construction projects.
• Perform concrete finishing tasks to ensure a smooth and durable surface.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment for tasks such as caulking, stucco application, and plastering.
• Engage in metal stud framing and frame carpentry as required by specific projects.
• Operate concrete pumping equipment safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to complete hardscape installations and other related tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to project planning as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in concrete labor or related construction fields is preferred.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to concrete work.
• Knowledge of metal stud framing, concrete pumping, caulking, stucco application, plastering, frame carpentry, concrete finishing, and hardscape installation is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to quality workmanship and safety practices.
• Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to concrete construction.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Work Location: In person
