Job Summary:
This position is responsible for leading laboratory operations to achieve operational and financial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directs personnel actions including recruiting, training, and evaluating staff members.
- Develops work goals and objectives in alignment with company goals; provides leadership, measures feedback, and motivation for staff achievement.
- Directs the operations and management of the workflow process in alignment with LSA/SQL's Roadmap objectives and Banner Health's Strategic Initiatives.
- Develops and oversees the laboratory budget in conjunction with hospital and integrated laboratory goals and objectives.
- Serves as a communication liaison for the Integrated Laboratory System, interacting with healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, health care administration, or related field.
- Qualification as a technical supervisor or general supervisor under CLIA '88 regulations.
- Four years of leadership experience with direct reports and management level responsibility.
- Understanding of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures of different software programs.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, analytical skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
